No more emo comix, kthx bai!
I know there have been tie-ins before, between the rock world and the comic world. You can guess that sell-outs KISS who have sold everything including coffins and toilet paper would have comics.
There have been comic biographies too. For example, Van Halen was the focus of this comic, which even includes mention of Brown M&Ms and Diamond Dave’s signalling system.
Anyway, I’m only writing this post to slag off. Gerald Way, lead singer of My Chemical Romance has written a comic, The Umbrella Academy. I’m left wondering what does it take to get a comic published these days!
